The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, commonly known as the Soviet Union, was a socialist state that spanned northern Eurasia. The Soviet Union was composed of multiple Soviet republics, with the Russian SFSR being the most prominent.
In War Front: Turning Point, the Soviet Union is one of the three playable factions and is the antagonist faction in the later half of the campaign.
Faction Specifics[]
The USSR has the most numerous and powerful infantry in the game. Not to be underestimated, they can cause a lot of headaches for any enemy. Their tanks and vehicles are cheap and powerful and they can wage defensive battles well. Alas, their air power leaves much to be desired and they lack the instant kill anti-air the germans have (though they can acquire it via the black market).
Their powerful propaganda power can also help turn the tide of any battle.
Their superweapons include the Winter's Breath, the Kharkov-Rampager, Giant turret, and Ice Spitter.
