The Western Allies refer to the alliance of Western countries opposed to the Axis powers, and later the Soviet Union during the Second World War. They are one of the three playable factions in the multiplayer and the main protagonist faction in War Front: Turning Point's single-player campaign. The most prominent members of the Western Allies are the United States of America, the British Empire, and France.
Overview[]
The Western Allies have the most advanced and most capable air-force. They can also deploy helicopters to transport heroes and infantry quickly to the front line or as anti-infantry air support. Their buildings do not require power which gives them a major defensive advantage and allows for easier base layouts, with fewer weak spots.
While the tanks and infantry of the Western Allies are not quite equal to their Soviet or German counterparts, they can still hold their own and some unique vehicles like the Rangers or Calliope Shermans can be really effective in certain situations.
Their superweapons include the Nuclear Bomb and the Force Shield Generator.
